Natasha Lorca Yannacañedo

Natasha has a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the American Conservatory Theater. She has performed in both theater and film in New York, California, and Cuba. Her favorite roles include the title role in Marisol, Adela in The House of Bernarda Alba, Rosannah in Brilliant Traces, Warwick in Henry VI, Parts 1, 2 & 3 and Masha in The Seagull. Natasha is grateful to have played Lisa in the West Coast premiere of Girl Gone by Mac Wellman. She appeared as Carmen in CBS’s The Education of Max Bickford with Marcia Gay Harden. Natasha played a lead role in Antonio de la Cruz’s 107 Street that debuted at HBO’s International Latino Film Festival last year. She is currently shooting Salsa Lessons with the same director. Natasha was a featured actress and dancer in Blood & Honey at the Arc Light Theater. She played Julia in the world premiere of Sus Manos at the Emerging Artist Theater. Natasha won an HOLA award for Best Ensemble Performance in Fireflies at Thalia Spanish Theatre. She recently directed Blood Astounds Me for NY Artists Unlimited. Natasha is a company member of Judith Shakespeare Company and Theater in the Flesh. She is the Acting Consultant for The Tango Company. Natasha is an actress, director, writer, teaching artist, acting and public speaking coach as well as an Argentine tango dancer. She is a professor at St. Francis College in Brooklyn.
